Bowel Awareness...
Check your 'Bum-Bum' regularly

B - Bleeding from bottom without reason
U - Unexplained, extreme tiredness
M - Malformed or hard stools

B - Bloating, swelling or abdominal pain
U - Unusual bowel habits
M - Marked bleeding when straining

These symptoms are unlikely to be caused by cancer, but it is better to play safe and be checked by your GP. If it isn't serious, you'll have peace of mind.

 

Breast Awareness
Spot the changes Early...

B - Breast or nipple discharge
R - Redness, puckering or dimpling of skin
E - Encrusting or rashes on your nipples
A - Armpit or breast lump
S - Size or shape changes in breast
T - Thickening or lumps that do not go away

Often you will notice what is right or wrong for you. Most changes a\re not caused by cancer, but it is very important to report anything unusual to your doctor.

 

Lung Awareness
Are you B-R-E-A-T-H-I-N-G?

B - Bloody cough
R - Repeated bouts of bronchitis
E - Excessive weight loss
A - Aggravating, long standing cough
T - Tiredness
H - Hoarseness of voice without sore throat
I - Infections of chest not going away
N - Non-stop chest or shoulder pain
G - Gasping for breath for no reason

 

These are all symptoms that need to be checked by your GP. If it isn't serious, you'll have peace of mind. If it is lung cancer it needs treating quickly.
