Dear members and service user panelists,

Please find attached Andrew Lansley's first speech as Health Secretary, given yesterday to an audience of National Voices members and panelists, LINks members and Patients Association members.

Here is a brief National Voices news update on yesterday too.

Many thanks to all those of you who attended the event and gave your time and feedback. And, once again, apologies that we weren’t able to accommodate all of the very many of you who would like to have come. There will be another bite at the cherry since  Andrew Lansley has agreed to a follow up session.

The Department of Health team are putting together the feedback received, both in questions after the speech and also in subsequent workshops. We'll circulate this.

Pia will also send feedback forms to yesterday's attendees.
