The Awareness Week is still having a huge impact, I had two further interviews last week and we have the promise of great things to come and the French Group also have an article about to be printed. Full details to follow when available.

The Article we were asked to submit to the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing has been accepted for publication. We would like to thank Dr Tom Gilhooly for writing it for us.

I’m amazed at the impact the Norwich talk had, several Doctors in Norfolk phoned me after receiving LDN fact sheets from patients at the talk. Several of them have now prescribed LDN on NHS even though they told me LDN is “double red” flagged in this area.

I have had many phone calls from private doctors, clinics, MP’s, other political bodies and charities. LDN is certainly being talked about big time.

  • Media – We are still being asked for LDN User Stories, if you have a story to tell for any condition from anywhere in the world please contact us ASAP. We have further press releases lined up to include local stories over the coming weeks.

We need a brief outline of your story - 50 words, name, age, address, contact telephone number.

Patient based evidence is the way to go this approach is working BIG time

  • Donations – thank you to all the people that make donations without your help and support we wouldn’t be able to continue. Even though everyone is a volunteer there are running costs which increase as we get bigger. It would really be appreciated if everyone could make a small donation of just £1 a month to allow us to carry on expanding. To make a donation or set up a regular payment. http://tinyurl.com/yfzbdoz

To date we have 6,941 people on the database and the website is getting on average 500 unique visitors a day.

The BIG news is “LDN Aware” – this will be the message for 2010 LDN Awareness Campaign if you would like to get involved in this grassroots movement we would love to hear from you.

A new landing page, logo etc is being created for the “LDN Aware” Campaign, details will be available soon.

To help raise funds for the 2010 International LDN Awareness Week Campaign Fund (ILDNAWF) http://www.LDNFund.com , http://tinyurl.com/ydujvex all donations can be viewed, you can remain anonymous if you wish but the amount is visible and 100% tractable. This service is FREE and since everyone is a volunteer all monies go to the cause regardless where in the world the donation is made.
