The Mobility Roadshow
Mobility Roadshow - Two events: twice the choice

The Mobility Roadshow

2010 is a bumper year for the Mobility Roadshow. There are two events: 1st, 2nd and 3rd July at the East of England Showground, Peterborough - for the first time in the East of England - and 17th and 18th September at the Royal Highland Centre near Edinburgh.

The Mobility Roadshow is the UK’s original and premier hands-on event, which has been showcasing mobility innovation for over 25 years. Each year there is an excellent array of products designed to make life easier for people with disabilities and older people who are not quite as agile as they once were.

Whether at Peterborough or Scotland, you will find hundreds of products to try out in an impartial environment, as well as gain a wealth of information and advice.

As always there will be vehicles from major motor manufacturers to test drive (don’t forget to take your licence), conversions and adaptations to consider, hundreds of mobility cycles, trikes, wheelchairs (including all-terrain models) and scooters to assess and compare, as well as exercise equipment, helpful products for use at home, specialist holiday, leisure and lifestyle options to explore.

In the interactive Sports Arena you can join in disability sports such as basketball, rugby, tennis and boccia, and an accessible climbing wall. With entertainment and activities for all the family, a visit to a Mobility Roadshow is a great day out for all.

Both events are open from 10 am each day. Parking, admission and showguide are free, wheelchairs and scooters available to hire - but do book in advance at www.mobilityroadshow.co.uk where you can also register for free tickets and keep in touch with the latest news as it develops.
