FOR ALL YOUR DRIVING NEEDS - VISIT NAIDEX SOUTH

With over two million registered disabled drivers in the UK the inclusion of a dedicated Car Zone at Naidex South is sure to be a big hit with visitors.  Taking place at ExCeL London, September 29th & 30th Naidex South promises to be the one event in the South of England not to be missed by disabled people, their families and carers.

Naidex South will be opened by Debbie Moore OBE and her daughter, Lara Masters. The founder of Pineapple Dance Studios, Debbie Moore OBE is well-known for both her business acumen (she was the first businesswoman to float her company on the Stock Exchange), and for being the mother of Lara Masters, successful freelance writer, actress, presenter and disabled rights campaigner.

There was a fantastic response to the Car Zone at Naidex Birmingham. Converted vehicles are such a key factor to independent living, and it is essential that people are made aware of all the products out there to make life as simple as possible for them. The Car Zone provides an opportunity for people to browse, shop, or just enquire about the latest products available, in a stress free friendly environment, with the added benefit of being able to investigate other products of interest throughout the exhibition.

Many of the UK’s leading manufacturers of wheelchair accessible vehicles including Aspect Conversions, Brotherwood, Brook Miller, Lewis Reed and Sirus Automotive will be exhibiting their latest vehicles within the zone.  The Car Zone will provide visitors with a fantastic opportunity to talk to different manufacturers and compare products in one convenient location.  Visitors will be able to obtain further advice from the Blue Badge Network with regards to the concessionary parking permit scheme and more specifically the disabled blue badge bays in operation across parts of central London.

In addition to the Car Zone, Naidex South will be playing host to a comprehensive range of features including:  KideQuip – a dedicated area for children and their parents and carers, Naidex Heart – a hub of support and advice which includes charities. the latest alternative therapies and the Media Zone – home to the leading disability and healthcare magazines.  Within the Communication Village companies including BT and BSKYB will be showing the latest advances in communication technology, while for healthcare professionals there is a CPD-accredited seminar programme, supported by The College of Occupational Therapists and the Healthcare Professions Council, with all attendees receiving a CPD certificate to add to their portfolio.

Visitors can also attend Primary Care Live  www.primarycarelive.com, a co-located exhibition where professionals will be able to further enhance their knowledge through attendance at an additional twenty free CPD-accredited conferences.
