Sir Stirling Moss Opens The Mobility Roadshow

At 10 am on Thursday 1st July this year British motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss will open the Mobility Roadshow, taking place this year at the East of England Showground, Peterborough over three days (1st-3rd July).  A true icon of the motor racing world, Sir Stirling is known to be passionate about all forms of mobility.

“Investment in mobility innovation and design is, I believe, vital to enable disabled and older people to maintain an independent lifestyle, and by so doing is crucial to the general wellbeing of this nation,” commented Sir Stirling. “I am looking forward to meeting Roadshow visitors and exploring the latest products and services being showcased at the event.”

“We are delighted and honoured that Sir Stirling has accepted our invitation,” said Jacqui Jones, Executive Director of Mobility Choice, the charity that organises the Roadshow.  “His support and interest in this event will, I know, be an inspiration to the thousands of visitors who travel from all corners of the United Kingdom to keep up-to-date with the latest aids to enhance their mobility.”
