VAT relief on new adapted vehicles for wheelchair users.

If you are thinking of buying a new vehicle, are a wheelchair user and need that vehicle adapted in some way, then, if you are on the Higher Rate of Mobility, you might well qualify for VAT relief on the car and on all servicing while you own the car.

The number to ring is 0845 3020203 Disabled and Charity Concessions. It appears that not all garages are offering this, so if you are ordering a new vehicle, and feel that you may qualify, then, if your garage is not willing to register the vehicle under this scheme, the  advice is go to another garage.
