Pembrokeshire Tourism

Welcome to Pembrokeshire from Alison Belton, Chief Executive, Pembrokeshire Tourism

(Pembrokeshire Tourism is a trade association representing almost 600 front facing tourism businesses within the county – just call the Association who will gladly give you all the information you require on 01646 622228 or e mail alison@pembrokeshire-tourism.net)

Pembrokeshire was recently voted the 2nd Best Coastline in the World by National Geographic readers, making us FIRST in EUROPE.  We couldn’t agree more with those readers  .... fantastic vistas from Britain’s only Coastal National Park over crashing waves, and out towards our islands of Skomer, Skokholm, Caldey and Ramsey.  In fact one of my favourite spots to park up my car and just sit and stare is on the brow of Newgale hill, followed of course by a lovely hot chocolate in a local cafe.

We'd love to welcome members of the Disabled Motorists Federation to our county.  Both the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the local authority have invested in quality infrastructure, to assist you, the disabled visitor in our county.  From wheelchair friendly tarmaced ‘walks’, accessible viewpoints and beach friendly wheelchairs together with welcoming pubs, bars, restaurants and accommodation which cater for your needs.  The coastal buses running along the county routes are also accessible from the Puffin Shuttle to the Coastal Cruiser, enjoy your seat on a journey along the coast.
From castles to coastlines, from rockpools to roaring log fires – Pembrokeshire simply has something for everyone – absolutely all year around.

Whether you’re staying in a hotel, guest house, bed and breakfast, self catering cottage, a caravan or even a camp site, there are disabled friendly businesses all around Pembrokeshire, who can cater for your needs.

If you need additional equipment in order for you to enjoy your holiday to the maximum, there are a number of organisations in Pembrokeshire who are able to hire items for the duration of your stay including www.pippa.org.uk and www.snowdropcareandbobility.co.uk
